I dunno how long since I got it but playing 1hr or 2 per day will never get you anywhere. Anyway since G-Gen is coming, I don't think I had any choice but to return the PSP to my brother. So I had been losing some sleep since the begining of last month just to clear the default scenario.
The Gena (Dravania/Main Story) campainge is actually easy (as compare to Zodia's) since the map slowly opens up thru the chapters. As Gena, you are offered to stay or join Valz of the Liberation Army in mid game. It's of course silly and futile that you actually tried building up and then destroying Dravania Empire should you join Valz. However the catch of it is there, making the difficulty up by a bit if you managed to strenghtened the Dravania Army by a considerable amount. Of course you can be an asshole, selling off all the equipments of the army, sacking (if it's possible?I never tried) off all the best generals.
Quick start tips:
- You don't need the weakness and strenght chart of the elements. Really.
- Fortified? For what? You be playing away matches 90% of the time. Just keep rushing and stay at the mid points (stars)
- Marketing is a pain. You can actually obtain better stuff by searching. However do spent your money whenever you can since there's a limit on the money you can hold.
- Your soldiers are worth 1.5 bar of the Super Gauge. If you can't beat the enemy, march them to DEATH and hope for a miracle.
- Morale is the key to all battles. Up yours and down their's.
- Alliance is to useful if you didn't want to fight 9 enemies at once. However don't make alliance with your neighbour. The com will just break alliance the moment they ran out of land to expand.
- Archers and Magic Hunters are your best defence only Pirates and Infantry can beat them.
- Captive Voice (RESTRICT EFFECT) and Lost Cause (Morale Down) are useful against bosses. You can save your 1.5 Super Gauge for mobbing the bosses.
Overall Generation of Chaos is a pretty nice ride by game althought in midst of enemies' turn you cannot save so when it is your station or stop, you cannot just exit the game and switch to music mode (MP3 playing). It does look complex because of lack of information on everything but if you rush by the game (which I believe the previous owner did) maybe it isn't so hard at all. Not a game that make Gaming Widows.
