This is what I see

A couple of guys get stranded on an Island. One of them found himself a gun and therefore decides it's for his keep. The others disagreed, not wanting to trust the one with gun even thought he is likely not be using it on them. They fought and in the struggle dropped the gun into the ravine. Even when the gun is lost, the bitter feelings remains and the unnecessary arguments continues.

(Footnote: The story above has nothing to really do with the incident)

I think the situation is unwarranted for any dispute anymore but no really the case for the GREATS of Cosplay.Sg.

What's in the mouth?

Strepsils didn't work too well. So maybe something else might help to make me feel better.

http://www.morinaga.co.jp/dars/index.html

The Milk Chocolate (RED) is the better tasting one. The Dark one is pretty fine and the white is pretty sweet too but Milk is the most balanced taste.

Drama

24

Late by a few years but never too late for a show that never moves more than 7 days (in storyline) since it's debut.

I can boldly say that it's very difficult to reproduce it's format (storyline via actual hours). Plotline however is a more less composition of the regular stuffs except you will never know the end because of the rabid twist and that, within minutes, changes can be drastic. They say it's absurd but really, you can do alot of things in a very long day.

Fuurin Kazan

The legendary Gatck make an appearance for around 5 seconds in episode 1 to foretell his coming as Uesugi Kenshin, feudal warlord of Sengoku of Japan.

However this is much not about him but about rather on Yamamoto Kansuke and his master Takeda Harunobu (later known as Takeda Shingen).

Yamamoto Kansuke was a hapless ronin, lose his eye and a leg due to a childhood disease. Despite so he was keen to be a samurai. Lady Luck wasn't on his side and for that, he remained a ronin. Until a bizarre arrangement of fate propel him to work with a man who truly recognised him abilities and not his appearance. (althought in a weird fashion...one retainer was actually hired based on his looks...I think....*cough cough*Butt Sex is Encouraged in Feudal Japan...I think)

If you happen to asked.....where's Gatck??? I guess you need to progress to the next season of broadcast to hear the name "Uesugi Terutora (or whichever he is known at that point of time " be uttered on screen.

Her Blog
http://yaplog.jp/strawberry2/

Sometimes back someone posted a pix of a Japanese girl trying to swallow a cat many many various ways whether in/out of costumes. Yup. She's the one. A serial blogger that updates her blog religiously (numerously in a single day even). One of those few Otaku idol/celebrity you can find in Japan. Just released a cover of anime songs including "Zankoku na Tenshi no Te-ze" which is sung at the end of the 3rd video.

Watched: Overall Summaries from...hmmm..

Meet the Robinsons
http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/meettherobinsons/

Boy abandoned seeks mother.

Fortunately for him, he is an inventing genius. Unfortunately for him, his inventions ruin his opportunities to be adopted.

Giving up trying to be adopted, he just wants to find his birth mother. For such he decided to create a memory viewer for his school Science Fair. Little did he realised this is the turning point of his life.

I wouldn't say this is a bad piece. It's just the once the candies are taken, the story left little to be desired. There are some moments but largely it's the dullest Pixar/Disney animation I ever watched. It might be better off if it's a TV pilot to a bigger story really.

300
http://300themovie.warnerbros.com/

It's a movie for Adults so stop your whining, kids. What? Who complaint about the nudity? Does 300 looks like a movie adapted from a Walt Disney comic book??? What the hell is wrong with people these days? It's a M18 movie! What??? Straight sex is eWWWW??? People are so strange nowadays.

Anyway it's a very good adaption, they beefed up Frank Miller's graphic novel to show a different message while retaining the essences of the book. I heard the director is going to do Watchmen. Good luck to him, since Watchmen is one of the heaviest book about the costumes.

28 Weeks Later
http://www.28weekslatermovie.co.uk/

They thought I am chicken shit and wouldn't be watching. Strange then why am I watching it? Nah. It's not really that scary or good. Just the boo and the aftermath thought of "what if".

It's Night of the Dead meets The Fast & The Furious (not Tokyo Drift....imagine...). Paired with the really great soundtrack, the chase scenes are great. Although it's more like a small budget concept meeting a bigger budget (everyone knows that Zombie/Horror films are actually quite cost effective. Although no one including the "original" Jack Neo will be doing a Zombie film based in Singapore.)

You don't really had to watch 28 Days Later for this. Just grasp the basic "Man turn Mad and Attack People" concept will do.

Sakura Taisen 4 (PC)

Ah. Sakura Taisen.

Finally bought the final installment to the Ogami Kagekidan (part 4).

I felt kind of being ripoff because it feels like an translated DC emulation rather than a real PC conversion. (And the game inherent contend is really thin)

Then again it's the only option so I probably had to stick to it.

At first I was thinking where's the chapter break/next chapter preview until I released that this whole game itself is AN EPISODE.

There are quite few events and there's pretty much less challenge to the battle sequences as compared to previous games. You can run through the game is about 8 hours. Interaction of characters are pretty much sufficient to tell the overall story although I wished I kept my Sakura Taisen 3's save file which might be able to port over so I get Glycine rather than Erica to pester me. (So as to be consistent). Not that I didn't like Erica just that romancing a nun is......kind of strange. In fact part 3's cast are kind of strange). Glycine was a choice more of due to Battle Strategy than preference.

My natural preferred partner for the Teikoku side is of course Sakura. Be it combat or peacetime narrative. So when it comes to making choices to pilot a 2 sitter, there isn't a need to hesitate.

Sakura is the choice for me.

Our journey ended as Nagayasu disappears knowing that city of Ginza is well taken care. With that, Yoneda retires, entrusting his duties to Ogami and the Kazegumi and the Baragumi moving out.

With this,

we bid farewell to the Ogami arc of Sakura Taisen, a journey that began for me 10 years ago.

However, I will be looking into the chinese edition of Sakura Taisen ~Atsuki Chishio ni~ for the PS2.

P.S. My desktop is having problems loading the typing interface of blogspot which is why I didn't update for almost a month. (an excuse)
