Kinda irregular am I?Anyway I think I am writing for myself to see to pass my time.

Oct is a drastic month.In fact I bid the kind staffs who put up with my nonsense at Q/Doc SIAEC goodbye on 29th.Kinda sad and I felt foolish for leaving SIAEC for that contract job at MMI.In fact Jee Muay gave me an umbrella (which didn't came handy.It didn't rain when I left) while Shanta,Siew Chun,Zaliha and Ahnidah gave me a Cross Pen (which will not come handy bcos I use cheap pen to write.That pen is way too valuable to be use any-o-how) and a card.

And 4 the 1st time I am facing two financial crisis (all attributed due to skipping work for games,etc).And I foresee another one bcos the new job will pay after the month of Nov is over.I leave 1$180 for insurance,transport,food and CPF top up.Already insurance n CPF is $110.That leaves $70 for food n transport.Looks like I must learn how to suck thumb or eat grass.

And the new job at MMI is killing me.2 days is enuff to kill me.But I will perserve and overcome despite the shortcome.The Indian who came with me on the 1st day (he's my former school mate from 4F) left just 1hr into the job.However I am a strong believer that good things will come out of hard work/hardship.I will survive.

The Twins Effect

Blame myself on being curious but the d/l link was there I had to get it......

and 80 plus minutes later I was tad disappointed by the film that is said to propel Twins to International Stardom.

Wat's wrong with the film?

1)Too engrossed with Twins.With almost every moment to be Twins, Twins and Twins, there ain't enuff time to develope a good story.All the background works on Day and Night,Reeve(Ekin),Kafaz(Edison) were wasted and even Donnie Yuen's Portion as a Vampire King was removed.The movie on whole on paper was way better than wat was seen (or at least in this advanced copy...quality rip but all scenes of violence removed...strange).

2)Old concept.Nuff said

3)Twins,Twins,Twins

Wat's right?

1)The action stunts, choreography

2)SFX

3)Costumes?

4)Jackie Chan and Karen Mok cameo

5)Twins,Twins,Twins

So there's more good thing bad things then!Anyway I will still catch the movie when it hits the screen next week...hope got screening at Tampines.

The Whole Twins crazed come to a halt after I decided that:

• they are not worth the time and the money


• they cannot sing


• they can act but their movies are almost bad. How to rate a HK movie? Twins
  as main cast can minus 1 star because that will affect on plot and costumes
  and settings.


• I still love Japanese Idols.

However I will be watching Twins Effect II.

TV,Twins and Initial D

Just bought a New Monday magazine (hk).While this issue had no Twins cover (I just love Twins Covers), I bought it simply for the extra, The Twins Effect digest.Oh look it even got an mmorpg!Unbelievable( yea sure...even The Sly Guy A.K.A Young and Dangerous got online game)...the Helen(Charlene Choi) drawing is so cute....haha...I will try to reproduce it so that I can start posting Twins drawings on SGAnime forum (yes but 1st get scanner).The cast of <The Twins Effect> will come to Singapore on 27th and 30th.Hope Charlene will be there...even though I hate crowds....but I will do it for Charlene!

Just went gaga on Initial D again I bought 3 books in a row just wants to go down and get the other volume but wait till tomorrow then...

The Rose ,TW drama..always like Ella from S.H.E....such a talent...although may look odd (miles away rom Charlene), she had one less thing in her way(her looks) from developing into a good actress in compare to her two other group members Hebe and Selena. Selena was once again typecast(as we expected...was it her 1st acting effect?) as an Angel of gal..well she was to Heaven before the actual plotline started as a gal who died from an Unknown Disease (a great plot device for dramas).Her death devasted her boyfriend Jin (Male Lead)who got into a drinking habit and became a weirdo 'who became very gentle to girls once drunk' (as described by elder 'sister' Furong to Baihe acted by Ella).Hebe acted as a cousin to Kui (2nd male lead)...so far appeared in the Opening Credits only....maybe she will still kick up a big fuss like in the previous drama,Magic Love,with members of S.H.E (Selina was not in this one) acting in it. Singapore may not get to broadcast this proper due to some questionable scenes (gay or yaoi and incest) but do hope they sell vcds anyway because it's still a good show.

Haha just learned something new yesterday.I learned how to burn 99min discs...haha...now I can start archieving my divx movies...and free more space for downloading.It was actually that simple!I thought it will be very complicated.

Meanwhile I am trying to find time to watch the Elva Up2U 2003 concert on vcd b4 determine to go for the actual thing....if wat's on the vcd is just soso then I guess not to go better.Save the money for a cd player is better

Doing an update for 4 days....anyway there isn't anyone reading my stuffs so I doing it time from time only bcos my bro is using the com on weekdays too already by the time he hand over is like the time I gonna sleep.I think my Twins craze is getting worse...I am finding out all the movies they acted and buying them but I am still short at 4 or 5 movies(not counting the cameos?).Also I cannot find their cds at the stores at my place.Maybe I should try shops at Chinatown or at the city centre like HMV and Towers.I just hope I can stop before stalking (highly impossible, I am in Singapore, they are in Hong KOng) or sending letters in blood(it's messy and unhygenic).I bought a magazine which had an article on Ah Gil's criteria on boyfriend...I think 4 out 20...

On 26, I met a net 'friend'.I can't classified her as a friend bcos in actual we barely exchange 50 words in between or exchange greetings.She was in a rush and I was on something....my bro was asking me over the phone on wat to buy bcos he was in sim lim...I do like to buy her a drink and sit down to chit chat.Then again she must be under the impression that I am a sex-fiend or a weirdo.A loud and rude one on top that.Anyway I thought she's a guy....nevermind if opportunities arose maybe I will ask her out...but dragging a girl on a Twins hunt...gee just could not get Twins out of my head....

Now I got cable tv maybe my life will get worse....regretted...spoil for choice...

but Twins will be my prority right now....at last a purpose in life?

 

Wat I been up to (Formerly untitled record)

Didn't update for 4 days.Must be laziness.Didn't do much on the long weekend.Except playing CS and C&C: Generals at Katong.I realised I really sucks at all kind of competitive events.Be it C&C or CS.Sigh.I decided to hang up my gaming mouse and control pad.There are more things than games.Like sleeping and reading or TV.

Hook up on Twins.I might even buy their CD even thought I am not good in cantonese.(I am hokkien but my hokkien sucks).Gilian is so cute, no wonder everyone in showbiz are rumored to be with her.Even up and coming idol Shawn Yu and Edison Chen fought over her....I bought 3 movies with Twins....looking for the rest but I think it will be harder...Just One Look wasn't a bad movie, the other two features only Gilian.."My wife is 18" with Ekin Chan..."Diva,Ah Huey" with Jordan Chan.Both movies had an incomplete feel to it, with 'My wife' having jumping around from scene to scene...I suspected a portion of Ronald Cheng's cameo was cut short...it was shown in the credits but I did not recall seeing it in the movie itself."Diva,Ah Huey" was a bit strange but for people who like  movies with cute gal in title role should get this.Yap.These two movies are not the best examples of great movies from HK but it already quite above the average already.

 

Work Rant.

The part-time job I am holding is a dead end.I will be doing an uncertain amount of work and get paid for $6 an hour for 8.25 hrs.It's a 5 day week job and I learn nothing new there.I don't get to touch the computer.I am just the regular office boy.Filing,carrying load,get deliveries and prints,soft mails.The only fun thing is that I got to see office politics and there are enough to fill the whole day.

The workplace is a female dominated ( in numbers...the bigger shots are still the man..) place.The air wasn't tense at all since all of my co-workers are like 40-50 years...when they talk I listen althought they were plain talk of vitamins,tupperware,news( SARS and the Iraq situation),company and lunch.And dinner.Seems that the ladies never knew wat to cook for dinner.

I am a noisy fellow when it comes to work.

First(again)

My first was being robbed when my session expired.And I spent 1/2 hr on it just now.Damn.Reminds me why auto-saves are been implemented in programs nowadays.

My memory aren't fantastic.I can't remember all the texts I intended for my big debut, the big kahuna(something I put up without examined from the net).Then again I do remember my purpose for starting this.I need something to remember what that make the day last week of last month.

I suffered from memory lapse.I can't remember what I had for breakfast,who I last dated (if there was ever),the last movie I watched (I do remember the name,it's a hk movie "My wife is 18",the rest I couldn't remember.),the last comic I read (it was on sat...that all I can recall).

However I do recall I had fantastic memory when I was 14/15.The most likely cause for the memory lost was a fever.There are two others likely cause.One involves an aftershock from an accident (but I wasn't the victim ) which I will elaborate some other time.The other was more unlikely and involves a movie which I watch.

It was a HK martial-art artfilm by the name of 'Ashes of Time'.In it Herbalist Huang (Tony Leung Kar Fai) said this:"A friend once told me this: A person have a lot of things to trouble because he remember things too well." The film did leave a great impression on me.And maybe I sub-consciously picked this up.Talk about Parental Guidance for movies.
