d4's bad love advice

Some dude got the cheek to narrate a portion of his tale to me and then rant again on his blog.
Like I always say, the same service will come to this bus stop but never will be the same bus (unless you so lucky waiting for a loop service. One advice on loop service....the journey is never nong.)

Alright, I don't have the street creds to prove my worth.
But homey, life's journey is about hits and misses.
Usually you can learn from the people who misses. Learn from their mistakes.

Boy Bouncey was Queing for his Subway sandwich. Just in front of him (minus 3 peeps), is a course mate who he met during poly dayz.

Now let's analyse the pre-game setup:
1)He knows the girl.
2)Gal is HaWT
3)Minus 3 peeps and you can smell her. That's how close you can get. Yes

what are the options?
a)Move in. Chat up with the gal. Cut the Q and eat with the gal. (Monster kill!)
b)Wait up. Buy your stuff. Move in. Chat. Eat with the gal.
c)Wait up. Buy your stuff. Move in. Chat. Eat at workplace. Chat about the penalty kick you forfeited with another loser.
d)Leave the Q. Wait for the girl to finish buying at a distance. Once she sat down. Move in. Chat. She might ask you if you eaten. Now that's a signal for bonus game. Buy light but eat slow (normal slow. Not Matrix slow). Ask her if she like a coke or lemon tea. That is to ensure that she had not other choice to change her decision afterwards to maximise the time spent together. Upon parting, remember to ask for the next possible meet-up opportunity.

All 4 options are not so bad. The worst is you buy and left. Then whine.

Post Mortem are very important. Bouncy Boy took Option C the worse of the 4 options.
For one, he already took iniative to talk. She knows him. There was a comfortable chat. He had his food on hand. He ought to eat it before it turns cold. He did however asked if she worked at the same building. Now that's a next opportunity chance but he finished with a weak, "I work at so-and-so". It's often rare that the girl might like to say "yes" for a get together on dinner break with someone she knows but not much so but an attempt is an attempt. You don't try to fish, you never learn how to fish.

Oh well. Homey I hope the next time it happens, remember the Golden Rule of it:

Make the best out every situation. Milk it dry every single opportunity.

So how's that for d4's love advice?

~What if you lived but no one remembers?

Just making up for lost time, (also due to free time)

Shakugan no Shana
This is the 2nd anime I watched that had the female protagnist having a thing for melon buns and I don't get it!
I must get one!

Overall anime quality is pretty ok althought initially shana looks like she got a belly. Storyline is based on an interesting premise without having to gradual to kind of just shonen manga style of story telling where the storyline is revolve mustly upon Fight of the Day.
Throw in Campus Style Romance Triangles and you pretty much get an interesting anime. Anime Quality can be improved of course.

Shakugan no Shana is the type of anime that had quite a bit of everything to be hook about. However the pacing is awkward making the general viewer bored if the fan-boyism (girlism) isn't strong.

Melanchony of Suzumiya Haruhi

A must watch.
A DIE MUST watch if you are a fan of Shakugan no Shana.

I refuse to write anything! There's just too much writings out there about this anime.
If you really want to read, there's some done on Vanilla's (Bernie).

Genji: Drown the Samurai

SCEI's inhouse game makers always had something good to offer.

Genji is beautiful and exquisite when put aside to the Onimusha (Yes! Even the Later released Onimusha:.DoD)
Gameplay however is pretty shallow. Either beat the enemies to death or score more points (and finish them fast) with kamui.
My boss strategy is X + Triangle till can do no more. Haha.

I thought to play till 3am in the morning but apparently I saved at a point that gave me less than 2hrs of gameplay.
I was shock. LoL.

Decisions
I realised that life's decision had to do with pride alot.

Sometimes you know if you got the lift, you get to reach the place faster. Yet you rather take your own sweet time and walk towards it. Will you reach it?Will there be another ride? I don't know. I just know that Regrets is for people who wants to live in the past. Who wants to live in "What Ifs" rather than "right now".

Just that,

What's is "Living" right now?

I ponder.

The usual mix pack^%$#

ICT is good in a sense that unlike retail work, you do get weekends for yourself.

Shin Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams Completed!
Managed to beat this game finally!
Storyline isn't too deep. It's just one hero moving on to prevent a massive takeover (or rather the Reborn of the Genma God...but why is he a Westerner???) from the Genma but he is not alone.

Basically you get to use a traditional swordman (Soki looks like He-Man in some angles), a quick draw swordgal (Akane Jubei Yayju...she is cute...the usual cheer gal.), gunner gal(Ohatsu is a niece to Nobunaga...but she got Genma blood??Heritage aside, she plays the 'meat' gal factor in the game.), Warrior Monk (Tenkai is actually the Red Oni,Samanosuke Akechi. He is the one with the staff. Not really the one I will like to use.) and finally the Brute (Roberto is quick and strong. However his controls are slightly different from others especially evade). Gameplay is quite strong on variety althought the tendacy to launch into O,O,O,O,O is very high.

Boss Fights packed a variety, from having Large Enemies to quick and fast ones. Compulsary Fights for characters also make sure you at least distribute your points and items and experiences among them. Puzzles are pretty straight forward and doesn't really require FAQs and plus side is that you don't have to go to one side of a huge map just to get a key to the other.

Cut scenes and stages are pretty well done. Althought some of the narration scenes had the dolls moves in repeated fashion especially Akane,Arin and Ohatsu.

Replaying factor is pretty ok with enhance difficulty unlocked, New Game+ features, a duel mode and unlocking costumes (yet to be done).

I will recommend this to a gamer who is into visuals and quick rush but have little time (but you need some time for the last chapter and Dark Realm).

ICT
Funny. It's the 1st time I eat crabs in the Base. Most likely the last time too.
Overall still ok. Left only 1 week. Or 5 days to be precise.
Sianz. Had to go back to work already.

If you had 6 hours left
Someone asked me this question. Oddly I think I will just go home before I decide anything even if I had 6 hours left.

blah blah blah update

@%$%#%^2wire
I attempted to use another modem. Sure enough it works.
This means the $%^%$^%$ 2wire modem is faulty.

The singnet person came down, checked the wires.
OMG the frigging extension wire is burnt.Luckily he can use the spare.
However this further proofed the ^%$%^@$@ 2wire is faulty.

On 5th, I was given a 0545 intime for ICT. Having some spare time at the moment, I decided to get my %^%$&$%& 2wire for checks.

When I reached the office, there's 3 women at the waiting area, an ah-girl, an auntie, an ah-mah. Ah-mah holds something familar. WTF. It's the same modem. And the auntie had the same thing too. The ah-girl is with the ah-mah (WTF?Why u letting ur granny carry your things?)

Anyway I got another set.

And guess what?

The #&^%^*&^*^$ new set keep rebooting itself.

Way to go.

ICT (Starting 2nd to 19th May)

Oh. ICT again.
Great.
This time round with Koh Ks again. He is my only batchboy and he was the one I dislike most in my batch. Haha but fated lah. Only 6 in my batch and he is with me since the 1st ICT (this is my 4th...my...how fast time flies).

Abit scare of a/c this time. The new system of workers is scary....I do the Rice stuff but dun x-train me in Airframe!!!!I scare of heights!!!

And I spent excessive $ on haircut for ICT. I spent $31.50 on a haircut in Kimarie. The stylist name is Jen. Why did this happen?Because I assume QB house be open on the 1st of May. DAMN!!!!

Scanner
Finally got myself a scanner.I look at the specs is so so.
It's a Canon LiDe 25.
Ok lah. I think the most important is getting a space for it. Haha.
I bought it at Best Denki at Centuary Square.
I think it's worth to forgo the $21 saving off the RSP (RSP= $129. Sim Lim paper says $108). Just imagine having to go SLS makes me sian. Haha.

Now playing with it. Scanning some old magazines and packing them to throw. Wheee!
