LET'S GO HOME (Poem by Reinie May)
LET'S GO HOME
does it even matter that you've left
you've changed
and everything changes
look, at our past
no matter the obstacles
with you there
i got the courage to go through everything
you were always there
when i need you most
you were always there...
under the cold rain
we walked together
no matter where you go
i'll always be here
when people left you
i'll still be here
call my name
coz i'm here
lets go home
when tomorrow comes
when we could laugh again
where the sadness is gone
does it even matter when u left
you've changed
i never realised it
that time flew us by
and we grew apart
u were always there
u bear with me through
no matter how painful it was
it comforts me to knoe you are there
you were always there....
continue walking
under this cold rain
no matter wad you go through
i'll be there with you
when you are alone
i'll be there with you
call my name
coz i'm there
lets go home
when tomorrow comes
we could look up
where the darkness is gone
so....
lets go home
when tomorrow comes
when we could laugh again
where the sadness is gone
*END*
