Three X Three

It's the season of ThreeS and therefore 3 reviews of 3 'THE THIRD' movies.

Spiderman 3
Acumulated tension of 2 movies wasted on the 3rd.
The potential is not harvested properly, the expectation was let down.
Sure it's a pretty good movie, compared to [Revenge of the Sith] which in my opinion left the audiences pretty much unsatisfied.

The direction of this movie is pretty simple, make Spidey busy. Tons of Special Effects and lots of 'oh.ah' plot twist. A very busy movie compare to Spiderman 2
After going introspective for the last 2 movie, they tried it again in Spiderman 3 with mixed results.

Every Great Aspects of Spiderman is in Spiderman 3.

Good Guy fighting inner demons? Check.
Villian isn't a really bad person? Check.
Fanciful Special Effects? Check.
Makes you want to be Spiderman? Check.
The Quotable Aunt May? Check.
A song/dance routine? Check.
Bruce Campbell? Check.
Jonah? Check.
Wet Shirt and outlining of nipples? NO!!!Why???

Ok the last one doesn't really counts. Even if it's probably a fan favourite.
Leave your expectations behind, you probably be a happier cinema viewer.

Pirates of The Carribean : At World's End

This is the better of the 3rd movie I watched so far, althought cinema viewers who skipped both Pirate movies before will end up confused and mildly entertained.

In terms of plot, it delivers and answers most of the loyal viewer's question. However it will really help to throw logic off board since mythologies and magic is in place.

Action set pieces wise, it loses out to part 2, it doesn't provide anything new except Flying Dutchman vs Black Pearl in a whirlpool. It doesn't create a spec fest only water logged pirates.

Highly suggest a viewing of both Pirates movie before watching part 3 to fully enjoy this.

Shrek the Third

Shrek the 3rd wise is a fairly simple story. The only drawback is probably that it's too short to showcase everyone but making it too long will bored the kids. New elements are introduced althought hardly substantial to make an impact.

And therefore in overall conclusion, these 3 titles fairly dipped and barely satisfying the long time supporters (or probably just me) yet will throw any new viewers into confusion easily. However in all fairness, these 3 the Third movies are certainly good films, entertaining without forgeting storyline and eye candies.
